Here at the Center for Health and Healing our integrative perspective is built on a cognitive-behavioral foundation and supplemented with brief solutions-focused, psychodynamic and Gestalt theories of psychology in order to assist you (1) in identifying your problems, (2) developing an understanding of the thought patterns and emotions that contribute to maintaining problems and (3) implementing appropriate solutions to work towards alleviating your problems in order to live a happier life. We offer attention to intersections of mental and physical health and include multicultural counseling as an important part of the counseling experience.
