A pedicure is basically a manicure for the feet, and uses all the same tools and then some. In addition to files, emery boards, and buffers, you need a foot bath to soak in, cotton balls to separate the toes, and a heavier-duty pair of clippers than what you'd use on your fingernails.
When getting a manicure, don't forget your feet. Today's open-toed shoe styles often require ladies to have fabulous-looking toenails, too, so be sure to ask your manicurist if they also do pedicures. They're great for maintaining nice-looking feet, and they're not expensive.
